Gemini Spark gets a stronger model for around-the-clock work
Google is moving Gemini Spark to Gemini 3.7 Flash for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries. The personal agent can keep working under a user's direction, and Google says the update improves its use of Workspace tools for jobs such as consolidating files, drafting email and updating status documents.

Amazon's browser agent can work through old web systems without APIs
Amazon published a working blueprint that pairs Bedrock AgentCore Browser Tool with Strands Agents so an AI worker can navigate legacy web applications in secure, isolated browser sessions. Organizations in insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and finance can adapt the sample to multistep data-entry work while keeping identity controls, audit trails and human approval.

Amazon Quick can now take action inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Amazon Quick customers can install new Microsoft 365 extensions on desktop or web and ask the agent to edit documents, spreadsheets, presentations and email using connected company data. The agent keeps per-document or per-thread context, shows what changed and records its actions; the extensions are included for Plus, Professional and Enterprise plans.

AWS released a reference system in which specialized agents gather market, financial and regulatory information, compare acquisition targets and route the strongest candidates to human specialists. In AWS testing, work that had taken analysts weeks was completed in hours, with citations, policy guardrails and an audit trail attached to the findings.

Claude Code subagents can share full context and message other sessions
Claude Code 2.1.232 turns on conversation forking for subagents, so a background agent can inherit the full discussion and prompt cache instead of starting cold. Developers can also mention another live Claude session by name to pass work directly, while new fixes tighten repository trust, command permissions, credential redaction and cross-session controls.

Google Sheets can turn a prompt into an interactive planning canvas
Sheets canvas lets Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers turn spreadsheet data into interactive dashboards, study trackers, seating charts and other visual tools with a prompt. People can keep the canvas inside the spreadsheet, share it with collaborators and update the underlying data without rebuilding the tool from scratch.
